Through education, healthcare, discipleship, leadership development, economic empowerment, and community development initiatives, HIA equips individuals with the tools they need to thrive and contribute to a stronger, more resilient Haiti.
Guided by Christ’s command to love and serve, HIA focuses on expanding access to education, healthcare, economic opportunity, and spiritual growth—ensuring that every individual can live with dignity, hope, and the opportunity to flourish. Our ministries include churches, schools, an orphanage, a free clinic, professional development programs, community outreach, and emerging holistic health institutions—each created to uplift communities and support Haiti’s long-term recovery and advancement.

Bethlehem Evangelical Baptist Church
Bethlehem Evangelical Baptist Church was started in September 2, 1984 by Pastor Jean Rigaud Amilcar Antoine, his wife Melande, and his 8 children in a small building in Port-au-Prince close to where they are now located. They outgrew the building very quickly and held services in the street. Pastor Rigaud was called to the office of the President of Haiti and given the land where Bethlehem Evangelical Baptist Church and College Jean Rigaud Antoine are currently located. Bethlehem Evangelical Baptist Church has approximately 2000 people who attend church services each Sunday.
College Jean Rigaud Antoine (CJRA) & College Jean Caleb Antoine (CJCA)
At College Jean Rigaud Antoine (CJRA) in Village de la Solidarite & College Jean Caleb Antoine (CJCA) in Jerusalem, we provide educational opportunities to the children in the local communities through private pay and student sponsorships. CJRA was founded by Dr. Jean Rigaud Amilcar Antoine and his wife Melande on October 4, 1985. The school currently has 600 students enrolled, but when the building is finished, it will be able to accommodate 2500 students.

Wayom Timoun
Kingdom of Kids Orphanage (KKO)
At Wayom Timoun / Kingdom of Kids Orphanage (KKO) we are literally saving lives, one child at a time. In 2003, Dr. Jean Rigaud Amilcar Antoine and his wife Melande opened their home to their first 2 orphans, and at present, their home/orphanage houses over 100 children. Wayom Timoun has been licensed by Haiti for adoptions and is thereby recognized as a Crèche, and we are placing dozens of children into wonderful Christian homes through adoption. HIA also offers sponsorship programs for the nutritional and medical needs of the orphans at KKO.
Rapha Clinic & Institut Medical Melande H. Antoine
Rapha Clinic & Institut Medical Melande H. Antoine in Village de la Solidarite, which means “God the Healer”, was opened on April 19, 2010, just a little over 3 months after the January 12, 7.0 earthquake. Two Haitian doctors and three nurses, whose hospital was destroyed by the earthquake, were hired to run the three-room clinic which serves the people living in Village Solidarite, Port-au-Prince. Rapha Clinic is designed to provide primary medical care for routine complaints such as back pain, headaches, and other less serious issues. Although the clinic does charge a fee for services (about 60 to 80 cents) no one is turned away or denied care if they cannot pay.
